Today I’ll show you how to draw a super cute chibi / kawaii version of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu from Pokemon. It is much easier to learn how to draw this version than the normal versions and they turn out much cuter. I will guide you through the steps of drawing these bayb-versions of Ash and Pikachu using basic geometric shapes, alphabet letters, and numbers. Have fun and Happy Drawing!

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Draw an oval.
(Step 2) Draw a curved line for the hat. Draw a circle for the Pokaball.
(Step 3) Draw a letter ‘W’ shape for hair. Draw ovals for the eyes and a circle in the Pokaball.
(Step 4) Draw a sideways ‘?’ shape for the brim of the hat. Draw sideways ‘W’ shapes for hair. Draw lines for sides of shirt. Draw a sideways ‘v’ shape for the nose.
(Step 5) Draw sideways letter ‘V’ shapes on the hat and for hair. Draw a rectangle with a wider bottom for his zipper. Draw a line in the Pokaball.
(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘v’ and an upside down ‘Y’ shape on teh zipper. Draw a partial rectangle for his left sleeve and a line for his right one.
(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘j’-like shape for his smile. Draw lines for his left arm and a curved line for the bottom of his coat.
(Step 8) Draw a sideways #7 shape and lines for his pants. Draw a sideways letter ‘B’ shape for his left hand.
(Step 9) Draw a check-mark shape on his hat. Draw ovals for fingers. Draw lines on his jacket. Draw lines on his legs. Draw a line on his sleeve. Draw a curved line for part of Pikachu.
(Step 10) Draw 2 lines for his left arm. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ and ‘D’ for shoes. Draw a ‘?’ shape for part of Pikachu.
(Step 11) Draw letter ‘v’ ears and oval eyes on Pikachu. Draw a curved line on Ash’s pants.
(Step 12) Finish up the outer shape of Pikachu’s ears. Draw a letter ‘U’ shaped mouth and 2 lines for his right arm.
(Step 13) Draw a curved line in both of Pikachu’s ears. Draw a sideways #3 shape on the top of Pikachu’s mouth. Draw a line at the end of his arm.
(Step 14) Draw circle cheeks and a curved line in his mouth.
(Step 15) Color them in.
